16+ Travel Ticket

Students that are 16+ have to pay £60 or £100 per term towards travel costs to school or college.

For £60 per term students can travel:
• To the local secondary school.
• Between addresses in Dwyfor and Meirionnydd and Coleg Llandrillo Dolgellau and Pwllheli, including Special Educational Needs courses.
• Between addresses in Arfon and Coleg Menai Parc Menai, Bangor, Llangefni and Caernarfon, including Special Educational Needs courses.
• Between anywhere in Gwynedd and Coleg Llandrillo Glynllifon.
• To any special school in Gwynedd.

For £100 per term students can travel between their home and any school or college in Gwynedd which is part of the scheme.

The scheme is only relevant to students who live and study within Gwynedd – except those travelling from Gwynedd to Coleg Menai Llangefni.

The scheme does not provide transport for Coleg Llandrillo Glynllifon residential students to get there at the beginning of the week. The College is responsible for this.
