Do you know a young person with arthritis?
North Wales Chronic Youths / Young Arthritis has been developed to support young people from the age of 14 onwards, and their families/careers with any of the 200 different types of arthritis.
Their aim is to share experiences and understanding amongst the group and learn how best to live lives and manage the conditions.
They meet regularly, currently at the Peter Maddison Rheumatology Centre in Llandudno Hospital. The meetings are friendly and informal with discussion, laughter and refreshments.
The group has been developed and continues to be supported by Arthritis Care. It is the UK's largest charity working with and for all the people who have arthritis.
For more information and details of future meetings please contact North Wales Chronic Youths on nwchronicyouths@gmail.com or phone on 07935360539 or via their Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/northwaleschronicyouths

An Exciting Volunteering Opportunity

Are you interested in being involved in a new exciting project to help children and young people in school or in the local library?

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers interested in helping children with reading and numeracy, listening to them read and supporting learning activities.

We are targeting older volunteers specifically - 50 years old + - to take part in the project, but also welcome volunteers of all ages who would like to help children develop their skills.  We are seeking volunteers interested in supporting children and young people in schools, libraries and other community venues, as well as in after school and homework clubs.
