You may be aware that there is a very large outbreak of measles in Swansea that is spreading across Wales. The illness spreads very quickly through schools if many of the pupils have not been protected by having two Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccine injections. For more information have a look at the document that is attached at the bottom of the page.

Details are attached on enquiries received by Gwynedd-Ni, feedback from Families and visits to our website. The report can be found at the bottom of the page as an attachment.

The Council is expected to ensure equality as an employer and as a service provider.  It is important to remember that the aim is not to treat everybody the same, but rather to treat everybody according to their needs. Visit the Council's Equality pages which outlines their commitment to the principles, there's also information on the agencies which can offer advice and support.
