The Welsh Baccalaureate

This certificate is available for young people between 14 - 19 yrs of age in Wales. The certificate is divided into two:

Core This part contains 5 different sections such as key skills, research, personal and social education, Europe and the world, and work-related education.

Options This part offers you the opportunity to do the Baccalaureate with a formal course such as GCSE and CGC.

It looks great on your CV when you apply for a job or go to university.

The scheme is divided into 3 different levels, the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Diploma.
